Abuse
We take abuse very seriously. If you need to report any abuse of our
user policy please email the admins.
UCE Rejection
We also take Unsolicited Commercial Email (spam) destined for our users
very seriously. We reject an extremely high amount of email and on
occasion legitimate email gets rejected along with it.
We reject email based on two basic concepts:
Various realtime blackhole lists (RBL)
If the host that your email originated from finds itself on one of the
blackhole lists that we use we will reject your email. To remedy this
look your sending host up on openrbl.org and deal directly with the
RBL in question.
You can also email the admins from a seperate email account with the
details of your rejected email and we'll try to determine which RBL
you're on. That said, hosts don't often end up on an RBL without a good
reason and since we don't maintain the RBL there's little that we can or
will do on your behalf.
Adherance to RFC821 standards.
We reject email that is not transmitted according to RFC821 standards
including HELO restrictions and the requirement for valid/correct
forward and reverse DNS. If your email is rejected for one of these
reasons it's purely due to misconfiguration on the part of your sending
host. In this case, email details to admins and we'll do what we can to
arm you with the information you need to get your sending host fixed.
We do not filter the content of your email at
all
(though we may do so in the future)
